Mountain Biking Red Trail
#436 of 1,396 mountain bike trails in Colorado
The Red Trail is a sweet singletrack that climbs from the West Aqueduct Trail to the Colorado Trail, running for about 3 miles one-way. It's relatively smooth and climbable for most of its length, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and valleys!

CO
I rode down the Red Trail as part of the "Colorado, Red, Hay, Blair Witch Loop" which is a great way to ride it - going down rather than up! It's a fairly typical two-way, shared upland back-country trail with gorgeous panoramas and some interesting forest riding. Intermediate riders will be able ride all but a few yards of it. It branches off the Colorado Trail and goes down the Soda Creek Valley in the general direction of Keystone.
The "Summit Cove / Soda Creek Loop" also goes down the Red Trail. That loop is similar to the "Colorado, Red, Hay, Blair Witch Loop".
Thank |Beautiful singletrack way up in the mountains above Keystone, providing key access to the colorado trail--but it's an excellent ride in its own right.
