I rode the Refuge trail in late July 2024. No parking lot, just park on the side of a dirt road. It's a true adventure. There were multiple volunteers cleaning up the trails. There are 64 wooden structures, which are really the main focus of the trail. About 1/2 the structures are in working order currently, and at least 1/2 of them are expert level. Some of them are pretty extreme, but also reasonably poorly thought out, ie huge hucks to flat. There are multiple huge rollercoaster features which are absolutely terrifying. The place is absolutely unique. About 5 miles in length. With some care on the wooden structures, and maybe making them a little more user friendly, this could be an awesome place to ride.

This place is a cool idea, but is not what most riders are looking for. It is mainly all freestyle mountain bike, there really is not much of a trail, very confusing, and it looks like the trails haven't been maintained in years.

This trail was alot of fun. Worth the trip for sure. Stuff I had never rode on before was a challenge, and fun. Will be back?
