A man stands on rocky terrain beside a shallow stream, holding a mountain bike. He is wearing a blue T-shirt, shorts, and a helmet, surrounded by lush greenery in a wooded area. Sunlight filters through the trees, creating a serene outdoor scene. Rimrock mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Rimrock

****   Add a review
#96 of 202 mountain bike trails in Tennessee
#5,704 in the world

This is a steep trail that drops down into a creek bottom and then climbs quickly
back up through some long rhododendron tunnels to the main Clemmer Trail. This
is a very narrow piece of singletrack with some serious exposure, so stay on the
trail!

Use this trail to break out of Clear Creek and return to Clemmer.

Great trail, ride it with Rimrock extension. Dips back down the mountain a bit then climbs back up some. Has a good rocky creek crossing then steep climb at the end.

Black diamond for steepness, narrowness, and exposure. This trail felt really overgrown in spots.
