Mountain Biking Riverwalk Canal

****   Add a review
#66 of 115 mountain bike trails in South Carolina

Follow the path down to a bridge. Once over the bridge there is a pumphouse that's worth checking out. Once you start heading right there's a greenway trail that runs with the canal and has a sandy path as well as a paved one. A few trails that lead closer to the water verge off alittle ways down

Very easy ride. Paved all the way. You can get your tires dirty on the dirt on the side of the pavement. If you go all the way to the end of the trail by the damn you can go down the gravel hill and ride on the riverbed for about a half a mile, then you get back on the pavement. This is a nice trail you can ride for free with the family. Nothin technical and it is free.

Rating this as a 4 star easiest. Nice views of the river on BOTH sides of the trail. Out and back trail not too long (nearly 3 miles) good for a quick after work ride
