Getting there
Route to Trailhead with Google Maps
Directions from Steamboat Springs: Go west on US Hwy 40 to County Road 129. Travel 17 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Road 129 to Seedhouse road, just before Clark. Go east on the FS RD 440 to FS RD 471.(rough 4x4 road) Turn right on to 471.1B to the end of the road.
