At the Intersection of Port Republic Road and South Main Street (Route 11) head South and turn
right at South Avenue. Continue past South High Street and take it all the way to the end. The last
intersection you reach is South Dogwood Drive, the dead end at the top of the hill is where the trail
begins. Head right past the sign and turn right into the woods.
So much great riding in this part of VA. There is a rippin' berm and jump trail down the power lines. There are trails here for every skill level.
Thank |Rode here for the first time. Being from NC, where our trails are clay and roots, the rocky conditions where a challenge. The park is fabulous and there's a nice network of trails just bring your rock garden skills and bike.
Thank |Perfect warm up trail if you want a quick ride. Not nearly as advanced as many other trails in the area but I found it enjoyable. There's something here for beginners and pro's alike
Thank |For what they have packed into a small but beautiful park .....great. They have well laid out single track that flows right into a sick pump track. Pump track starts at top of the hill so speed is no worry. Crazy fun. A great little area.
Thank |Great little park with a LOT of trail variety. Expert with jagged rock outcrops, terrain park, downhill section with jumps and berms, intermediate and beginner trails - this place has it all.
Thank |The trails are kind of congested and there really isn't any down hill except for on section down the power lines. It is also really technical (rock),
Thank |Really fun trail system with multiple skill levels, built for short rides. Great fun to ride the loops in both directions, and the bermed section down the powerline is awesome!
Thank |So, several reviews mention there's not a lot of distance out here, and that's true, also no major climbs. That said, it's got pretty much everything else you could ask for. From easy lines suitable for kids, to a decent intermediate loop, a pump track, and a super gnarly rocky advance loop. The builder of the trails in this park is really the dirty little secret to why it's so good - he's a pro, and the park is in his back yard. So yeah, there are some sick lines. If you really want your mind blown, go out here when it's hard frozen and there's snow on the ground, you brain will break at the lines some of the locals use, even in the snow.
Thank |While quite short there is a lot of variety in the trails. The green is suitable for beginners, Blue takes it up a couple of notches, Red; hard to believe it can be that technical in a city park.
Thank |Great place for a quick spin, or work on your bike handling skills. Trail is too short to give it a high rating, but if you're in the area, and have a little time to spare, it'll be a hour or two well spent.
I got into MTB for long, lungbusting, legburning climbs. This park has zero of those. As long as you know that going in, you won't be disappointed. There's plenty other things there to keep you entertained for a couple hours.
Thank |i had a great time this place has everyting from a cool down hill race worthy track that zigzags under a power line with banked corners to a bmx style dirt jump area to a network of trials from easy to advanced...
