I have one word for this trail. RESPECT. Due to its grade, for all riders except the exceptionally conditioned, this is a downhill shuttle ride. Significant exposure is constant throughout. Technical spots are predominantly composed of several difficult, steep switchbacks (with exposure). There are several near the top and a few in the middle that deserve extra caution. There are also three or four little yellow signs along the way on the side of the trail that read SLOW! These are not in technical spots, but one is well-advised to follow them. They are placed in spots where one could easily approach the upcoming curve too quickly, miss the necessary line, and go flying off the trail - with very high consequences. All in all, this is a must ride. It is impressive that FAR (and a contractor I assume) even constructed the trail. Again, RESPECT!!! We also saw big horn sheep on the cliffs, and it should be noted that the trail is closed in June and July for bighorn lambing season.
