Mountain Biking Royalwood River Trail

***   Add a review
#12 of 28 mountain bike trails in Manitoba
#6,957 in the world

Fairly open singletrack with small roots and some quick ups and downs. Not very technical but the first half is a bit tighter and the second half is more flowy and encourages speed.

Getting there
To access the north entrance to the trail you enter the trail off of the greenway just east of the St. Anne's and Bishop Grandin intersection. There will be a paves section that come off of the main path with two benches and a trail leading into the woods. This is the trail and you can follow it to a break where you cone out by the bridge onto a residential street. (John Bruce Rd. E. & Bridgewater CRES.). From there you will bike away from the bridge and come to a pathway called "bois-des-espirit" and you will follow that in to the second part. Look for an entrance to get down closer to the Seine river. This is where the single track is located, not on the gravel walking path.

I ride this track often and it's great for a city track, not too long or technical but fun for mid-week rides or when you only have time for a short ride.
