Mountain Biking Rush Hour

#25 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
#2,620 in the world

Trail is a fun little out n back. 2 miles one way. Only gain about 340' in elevation throughout the trail. Perfect small workout trail and good intro to singletracks in the area. Trail turns around at the Wyoming state line.

Easy trail for beginners. Nice for the beginners in my family. One end of the trail is right under the big blue Idaho state sign.

This is an incredible trail system in the area and we absolutely LOVED our ride here.

It doesn't feel like you're riding in Idaho, it feels like you're in GA (but without the humidity of course). The trails are built extremely well with lots of flow in mind, mellow climbs that are an absolute blast to descend down.

It's an nice out and back ride through forest and meadow, generally mellow but with some short steep pinches. It stays close to the highway. Good dirt with few rocks and roots. Great track to take the dog for a run on. It's very popular.

This trail is perfect for getting used to single tracks. It has several short switchback ups and downs that get the rider familier with braking and downshifting... And it's right off the pass; therefore, any issue can be solved with the simple flick of a hitchiking tumb.

Fun, short, easy. Perfect for an after-work-quickie or if you're looking to get in some more riding after an all-day epic if you've come from outta town. There are a few berms which are really well made. Ride it hard and fast or just cruise, either way it's a nice little trail.

Trail is a fun little after or before work ride when you don't have time for more. Little bit of up to make you feel like you're doing something. Flows nice and parallels hwy 33 with views of the creek below. Perfect for first timers looking for singletrack.
