Mountain Biking Rusty Ridge
#332 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
Although you could probably consider Rusty Ridge as part of the Sidie Hollow Trails, it's pretty far removed from the main system and acts much more like a quick after-work ride for those in Viroqua. The trail winds through farmland and forest on a gentle uphill gradient. You'll occasionally have a place to catch your breath, but not for long. There are some rocky bits on this climb, so try to maintain momentum in order to get over them. Once you're rolling downhill, you encounter fast, flowy trail through pristine farmland.

From the parking lot on Sidie Hollow Road, bike a little ways down the road away from town to get to the start on the right.
