Mountain Biking Lincoln Trail State Park
#73 of 128 mountain bike trails in Illinois
The trail begins out wide and well packed sand trail. About a quarter mile into the ride it switches to a rough singletrack through some creeks. There are a couple descents down a rooty washed out singletrack. They require some skill and there is one good Climb up a rooty wash out hill. The trail is marked well and is a descent ride if your in the area.

Start at the Sand Ford Trail Head on the Outer Loop of the Lincoln Trail State Park
short ride close to a reservoir and rt 70
Thank |The trail is very short 2 mi and there are only 2 downhills and 1 climb that are even note worthy. If you happen to be fishing or camping at Lincoln Trails State Park it's worth the trip to hit it up, but I wouldn't drive a long way to adventure over here.
