Mountain Biking Sandstone Ranch Open Space
#925 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
There are two main loops in the open space - one to the south (Meadow Loop - 3.7 mi) and one to the north (Juniper Valley Loop 3.2 mi). There are few side trails that are well-mark off of these. All the trails are single track and well-cut/designed for mountain biking. There is nothing very technical here or physically difficult, but it is fun, flowy riding. There are nice views of Rampart Range and the ranch land at the base. Most of the trails sit in grassland, scrub oak and pinyon-juniper. The open space opened in September of 2020.

From the junction of County Line Road and CO-105 (S. Perry Park Road) on the north edge of Palmer Lake, head north on CO-105 7.3 miles and turn left (west) into the open space.
Some fun to be had here, but nothing technical or too amazing.
