Take exit 117 on the Garden State Parkway and follow Highway 36 for twelve miles till you reach the entrance to Sandy Hook.
Nice ride on paved paths. Really good for getting a nice workout in. Rode with my brothers who were on road bikes and kept up pretty good with them.
| ThankPaved path with more than 6 miles of beach and 12 miles of water front. Great place for a scenic Road bike ride. I don't know the rules for this park, but I have seen swimmers, fishers, surfers and parasailing. This would be a great place to stop off at after riding Huber woods or Harthshorne and jump into the ocean.
