Mountain Biking Schramm Park Recreation Area

**   Add a review
#18 of 36 mountain bike trails in Nebraska
#7,798 in the world

This is a simple figure 8 with a couple complex downhills or upbills, depending on where you start. A great beginner trail. Not too technical and a good workout for the newbie.

Definitely for hikers or runners, not for bicycles.

Was visiting parents in Gretna and stopped by because it was close. These are walking trails not mountain bike trails. The trails had 6 inch to 8 inch tall logs accross for walking steps. Was not an issue going down but very hard to negotiate going up especially if the logs are wet like the morning I rode. Next time will make the drive to Swanson Park instead.

It had some steep hills and some rough terrain. It was a lot of fun to ride. It starts off as a large path to ride on and then the trail becomes a single track. Very fun and some parts are challenging. I thought the trail was fairly long and it could take you an hour or so to ride the whole thing.
