We’ll laid out pathway along rivers edge and embankments
    16.5 km from Durham
Police station to last parking lot north . Good work out

provides a really good work out but nothing technical. Way too many hikers/dog walkers so you have to watch your speed.

The trail between whitevale and hwy7 degrades quite a bit.

If you want to ride the full length there and back give yourself a few hours it's quite long. There's some really great look out points along the way.

Best to ride on a week day earlier in the morning less busy.

You'll have to walk the bike at some points but fun as heck

This trail has it all! Mostly well packed terain with some roots and rock gardens. But be prepared for some crazy technical climbs = crazy technical descents as well as fast flowy downhill. Watch out for hickers.

It is a hiking trail. Well packed. A few climbs and a few logs to get over. It is a nice Sunday ride but watch out for dogs and hikers.
