Mountain Biking Seminole Trails
#66 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
Well signed with an inner (intermediate) loop and an outer (beginner) loop. Doing the two loops from the entrance will get you about two miles. Trails are well manicured singletrack that's super flowy with some rocks and roots thrown in. The climbs aren't noticeable at all and your rewarded with some nice speed sections with some turns. Not too much for the extreme crowd here, just fast pedaling fun and flowy singletrack. Also do the gradual elevation gains it's a great location for fat biking in all seasons! Takes a few hours longer to dry out after a rain than Quarry Ridge however.

The entrance is right next to the bike roundabout where the Cap City, Badger, Military Ridge and Cannonball bike paths all meet.

Several things to know about these Trails 1. they were not easy to find i used my GPS but had to park on a road and cut through an apartment complex to find the trail. 2. There is a fee to ride, I was happy to pay but had to go back to my car to get $. The trails are fun short bursts. There were people walking their dogs so it is somewhat multi use

Thank |An awesome little trail. It's well made & manicured, has tons of flow and is lots of fun! The only problem is that it's stuffed into a small area so while it could maybe expand a bit, it'll always be short. But it's connected to every major bike path and near a bike hub with tools, pumps, water & bathrooms.
The green loop is fun for ripping and is about a mile. Fun XC trail with some good flow and a few nice berms.
The blue inside loop is like a greatest hits. You get your 4 bermed gravity channel with a table top or gap jump at the bottom to start. Then you get some nice options for drops & rock gardens through nice bermed singletrack. A couple 1 foot drop offs give you some air feel even if you're an XC rider. Some nice pumps and a tabletop and even more berms finish it off. It's fun and fast (both loops combined take me about 10 minutes if I'm out there ripping.)
I usually ride to Seminole, do 2 green and 3 blue loops and then head to Quarry Ridge. Having those two systems a mile apart and connected by bike path is pure gold for us Fitchburg riders.
This is also a very popular fat bike trail in all seasons.
Thank |The local trail crew CORP have done a great job adding features to this small but fun trail. There are a few quick berms and a couple jumps and small rock drops, for a not long trail has a lot to offer for fun.
