Mountain Biking Sentiers de l'Abbaye d'Oka

*****   Add a review
#7 of 94 mountain bike trails in Quebec
#1,874 in the world

Un great network of singletracks for riders of all levels. Challenging ascents, amazing downhills that you'll want to start over and over and some good old XC riding, all on the land of the Abbaye d'Oka. 40 km of trails in summer on the north and south sides and 20km of different trails for fatbikes and snowshoes in winter.
New trails planned for 2016.

Incredible gem ! The Northern trails are fun, a skills park, pump track(?) with huge bumps, some easy trails, fun and twisty. Then cross Chemin D'oka, go past Abbey (you won't believe this until you ride MTB trails next to a giant monk's Abbey!) on the south. Here ared intermediate plus trails. Awesome flowy expert trails. Worth the trip from about anywhere. Great signage, great trails, great bike shop on site. Stay 2 miles away at Oka national park and ride all day

Super smooth hard-packed clay on the north side, some climbing and rocks on the south side and fun flow track. You can rent bikes including Rocky Mountain e-bikes.

Rider questions

Q: I am coming to Montreal with my wife for holidays to visit her family and wanted to ride Oka. I am assuming that it's fat bike freandly? How are the conditions? Which trailhead should I start from?
A: No snow this year. sorry
