Mountain Biking Sesame Canyon
#220 of 1,380 mountain bike trails in Colorado
The trail drops over 700' in one mile down a beautiful canyon from Captain Jack's (at the bottom of the tubs) down to High Drive. It comes out on High Drive maybe 200 yards below the new trailhead of Palmer Trail (marked Red Rock Loop on the ground) on High Drive. It makes a great link from the Upper Gold Camp trails to Palmer Trail-Section 16 and the Red Rocks Open Space trails. Tight switchbacks, steep, loose, rocks, root drops and one scary rock rollover that could seriously hurt you.

This trail begins at the bottom of the "tubs" on Captain Jack's, one mile from the top of High Drive on Jacks. The trail heads off to the North just above/before the little rock jump at the bottom of the tubs.
