There are so many trails. Shabarum Trail, Wildcat Loop, Switchbacks, and more hidden. Take the
switch backs up and at the top go down the single track and up the hill it will take you down the
craziest ride here
Description from TrailAPI:
Peter F. Schabarum Regional Park, located in Rowland Heights, is a 575-acre facility with 75 acres developed for walking, hiking, picnics, youth camping, soccer and tennis. Youth tennis lessons are offered year-round and exercise classes are free of charge. There is a new "Life Trail" exercise area, a federally protected blue-line stream and the remaining acres of the park have been left in their natural state and crisscross with hiking, biking and horseback riding trails that connect to the historic Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail.
The best park to train if you what u doing network many single tracks and fire roads.. Nasty climbs to fun down hills .. Total trail network around 20 miles..accessable from three sides hecienda blvd.. Colima rd near Azusa ave.. Or near pathfinder from old Fullerton rd or connected from salaroso rd from trail view park..I am a daily rider n I can gain elevation upto 2100 by combining switch backs n some single tracks n fire roads.. Find somebody who knows the trail well.. You can easly go upto 3 hours on sMe trail.. Good luck n keep Riding!!
Thank |The trails that run off the main trails are GREAT, but there is way too much uphill to cover just to ride downhill for a few mins. Still a great riding area for not having to drive far from home. Despite me hating trails with too much uphill, I recommend everybody give this park a visit and explore some side trails.
Thank |Good workout, took the switch backs up and wrapped around back to the main fire road. Trail is in good shape
Thank |Love the trail good for training on parts and can be so fun
