Real fun singletrack, farm trails, pine forest downhills, going through some fincas, places where you can get major speed, etc. Pretty rugged trail, about a 20k downhill I was told, that connects to Alegria for the 2nd part.
At the big stairs in town there's a road at the foot of the stairs that goes right. Take that up. It's a ways past Alegria trailhead, but after that I honestly can't tell you how to get there; tough to find. Call Yambolombia hostel in town and ask for a tour.
Called Yambolombia, a hostel in town who rents real, quality full suspension bikes, and this was the tour they took me on. Got shuttled up to Alegria, and continued riding up the road from there. At the top, you rip singletrack down for a long time through alternating technical, farm trail, pine forest, roots, grassland, and massive views the whole time if it's clear out. Very cool ride. I wouldn't do it without their guidance, as it's super tough to find the entry to the trail if you don't know it, and equally tough to follow it for the first 15 minutes or so.
