A pathway leads through a wooded area, bordered by trees with autumn foliage. A black bicycle is resting against a wooden post on the left side of the path, while a grassy field is visible in the distance, alongside a few large rocks. The scene captures the tranquility of nature on an overcast day. Snowmobile Trail mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Snowmobile Trail

We took the southern trail initially. It's approximately 6 miles to and from the end of the trail. The trail is great for those who want to test their bikes to see if they will actually hold up or not in rough conditions, and for those who are beginners. The first part of the trail is pretty level, yet very bumpy due to rocks. The trail then starts some turns and ups-and-downs, but watch for some fallen trees that you will half to go over. The final part of the trail, if you go fast enough (which makes it harder), you can have some decent jumps. The trail ends on E. Bloomfield St. behind apartments, which is where we turned around and went back.

On the trail map at the parking area, it shows the northern trail as well, which we have yet to do.

This trail isn't too bad, its a nice ride after work. Not very demanding but has some challenges that make it fun. You can enter behind an apartment complex or start from the fish hatchery. It can be very muddy after a day of rain by the apartment side of the trail. The fish hatchery end has some half exposed rocks that can make it bumpy for a mile or so...If you have a hard tail it might be a little annoying, but tolerable.
