This popular loop trail follows the west and south shoreline of the lake. This site includes picnic sites, wildlife, and impressive views of the lake. The trailhead for South Skookum Trail #138 and #138.1 is located next to the boat ramp area. This non-motorized trail is a 1.6 mile long loop trail, which includes the spur trail, and offers scenic views of the lake. Five benches, which were installed by a local boy scout troop are scattered along the trail and offer visitors an opportunity to stop and enjoy the scenery. via USDA
