First part of trail close to Sedona high school is very rocky, but it improves after that. Take a right onto the Pyramid trail to do the loop counterclockwise and be able to ride-(or hike-a-bike!)-the steep portion downhill. Now called Scorpion Trail.

The trail takes a very faint left turn across a slope to enter the canyon and ride it's walls around 200 yards from the start. Trail ends at a ridge 3-4 miles from the school. Trails are many so finding loops are easy.
