Mountain Biking Spire Rock

#162 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
#16,837 in the world

From the p-lot ride north on the main Delmoe Lake road for about 3.6 miles. This is a great warm-up. Turn right onto a wide four-wheelrer trail and ride up this until you come to a tee intersection (mile 4.6). turn left. Mile 5.6, turn right Mile 7.7 turn left, Mile 8.5 turn left. At Mile 9, you are back at a main dirt road (Whitetail Road) that will bring you back to your car, but DON'T take it. The best way back to the p-lot is to turn left (north) on this road. Be on the look-out for a faint single track on your right (south) less than 0.1 mile. Turn right onto this single track and continue south back to the p-lot.
The Pipestone area is a veritable maze of trails. Point the front of your bike towards the Tobacco Root Mountains (south/east) and you will find your way back to the p-lot. Have fun exploring!
