Mountain Biking Spring Lake Park

*   Add a review
#94 of 128 mountain bike trails in Illinois
#16,285 in the world

Spring Lake Park contains 37.2 acres and is the
city's largest park. The north ¼ of the park has been cleaned, trails opened, and a parking lot. Fall 2007 a
bridge across the small creek will be built, and permanent steps have been built in the falls area. Though it is visited regularly, the park holds considerable potential
as a restored natural area with multi-use trails and public restrooms.

    I lived in the area many years and I'm pretty sure it's just for hikers.I could be wrong moved away 3 years ago but would hate to see someone make a trip and not be allowed to ride there.
