Tried this trail for the first time just the other day. Surprisingly fun. Loop 1 is somewhat technical only because that is where the switchbacks, roots and elevation are located, but very doable. Remaining loops are fun and there are even some jumps, rollers and a couple big hills at the end. I found myself riding the trail and there would be a more intermediate feature just off the trail so I would circle back and do that one. WATCH THE SIGNS AND FOLLOW THEM. The trails total about 4.5 miles. Since it was that short I rode it twice and my GPS said 8.0 miles, so somewhere along the way I crossed onto another loop and missed 0.8 miles. Great place to practice riding technique ... will definitely be back!!
Good for locals, but probably a letdown for travelers. A great short trail to test new equipment or if you're in the mood to just ride fast without the technical stuff (minus loop 1).
Great mix of twisty trails and smooth single track. 8 loops with loop 1 being the really only intermediate section. One expert area that's really nice. Mostly tree covered and great wildlife. Fun for beginners and others to enjoy.
By gps I get right at 5 miles of trail with 879 vert. It didn't seem like that much climbing so maybe my phone lies. They have it marked out as 6 loops on maps at mountainbiketx.com, but it rides as one loop with bailouts at end of each more or less. It's kinda opposite of a stacked loop as the intermediates are at the beginning but the "expert" is near the end, but hikers/runners go opposite from bikers clock wise so that might explain it. The whole trail is fairly easy including the expert, which is a couple bigger steep drops with a sharp quick climb in between(FUN but not too difficult)
The trail sees a good bit of use. It's mostly firm clay, well maintained, and fun. The intm. trails have a good bit of up and down, but still no lung busters. The easy trails have some fun little woop de doos and one log pile. The only annoyances were that most of the switch backs have full on paths from short cutters, and a number of narrow trees. Good place for fast fun easy riding 5 miles off I 30. They also have porta jon, water, and bike wash station.
Loop one is pretty tough for a beginner like me but the rest of the track is fairly easy and alot of fun. Popular for runners/hikers so keep an eye out.

Thank |6.5 miles of tight single track. Not a ton of elevation or speed, but a fun ride. heavily wooded with a lot of wildlife around.
