Accessible from either the Nix Nature Center (north), or the south trailhead, which is at -
Big Bend Staging Area, Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach, CA, 92651 . Pay at machine to park, cards & cash accepted ($3 on week days, weekends & holidays may cost more?])
Park hours are 7am to sunset. BUT - Big Bend Staging Area parking hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. If you are late leaving, you will find the gate closed and a ticket on your vehicle!
Stagecoach is a nice single track that features a somewhat unique feature - an exposed earthquake fault line! (see pics). The climbs aren't too difficult and the descents are fairly flowy, although some of the corners/berms towards the Nix Nature Center end are beginning to develop ruts.
