My first trail. It was a good challenge as a beginner. Some bridges washed away from recent flooding, a little maintenance needed, but all in all a good trail!

    Reviewing Kona’s Run:

This is part of the Sugarcane trail. The trail has some really good climbs and decents. It feeds back into the last part of the sugarcane trail so you can finish your full lap around the lake. Including Sugarcane and Kona's Run, it is approximately 9 miles.

Great trail system that offers both easy, intermediate and difficult portions. Lost Woman segment is fairly difficult and a lot of fun. This is a fantastic trail and one of the best around. I think it is often overlooked but well worth the drive.

Rode the sugar cane trail today with my 9 yr old son. He did the 6.5 mile loop in exactly 1 hour. Went clockwise around the trail and it was fairly easy. Some roots but that's it. He did slide off one of the bridges bc there wasn't a ramp and it scrubbed his speed getting on the bridge. The trail was clear and well maintained but had a large tree down that fell recently. You do have to pay the day fee of $3 at the kiosk in the park entrance.

Great trail and well maintained. I would say it is a beginner but there is a lot of roots and navigating them was tricky. All in all awesome trail. Few spots to stop and take a look at the water. I rode the sugarcane trail only and it was 6.16 miles. Will back back to ride the two other trails.

I rode the sugarcane trail. It was well marked and in good condition. It's a beginner trail but was still fun. Pretty ride on a fall afternoon. We couldn't find the other trails that are supposed to be in the area.

First got in to single track mountain biking at Bodcau trails, actually had to drive past Sugar cane Trail to get there from where I live, tried Sugar cane today with a friend that has been there several times, if the trail was once overgrown someone has been taking care of it, was some tall grass near the end but otherwise a great trail, not near as technical as bodcau but does have some fast down hills, some of the bridges were slippery today after the rain we've had this week.

I ride at caney lake often. I think it is great. The trail is not the easiest to follow, but if you know your way around then it can be rewarding and challenging. The expert trail or "lost woman" trail is excellent and was in great shape the last time I rode out there (early February 2013).

This was my first trail. Great for beginners. Not real long or techical. The trail is open, but needs some maintenance. It is getting overgrown.

trail is great for beginners because there are sections to the trail that get progressivley harder.
clockwork orange section is short but difficult. park is very nice for other outdoor rec. as well
