A dirt path winding through a vibrant green landscape, flanked by yellow flowering bushes and tall trees. In the foreground, two large, painted tires partially buried in the ground serve as obstacles along the trail. The scene showcases a blend of natural beauty and playful outdoor features. This is a cool trail system in Tacoma. An xc oriented loop goes around the entire complex. The loop has a few optional trails offshoots to add distance to the loop and challenge your skills a bit more. The xc loop is rated beginner and the offshoots are rated intermediate but I think most people would be able to do the offshoots as well as the main trail. At the north entrance to the trails is a skills park with drops, and a pumptrack. There are also a few jump and freeride lines in the middle of the park.

The trails are very well-maintained and while I was riding I saw four people working on the trails. Kudos to them, they were doing an awesome job.

This trail is so fun, it is the first official mountain bike trail I've ever ridden and it was a blast. The trails could use some bush whacking and aren't marked very well either so i was pretty confused with trying to find my way around. I am amazed with the variety of features to mess around with. There is something fun for every skill level and riding style. Yes like everyone else said the neighborhood surrounding it is sketchy so be cautious but don't let that stop you from checking it out or going back. I grew up in Tacoma its not the worst. Great first impression of a legit mountain bike park though. Watch for glass especially at the entrance of the trail.

The bike park was amazing but neighborhood in the area though was VERY sketchy. There were kids throwing rocks at signs and parked cars when we got back. We wont be headed back to this park just due to the neighborhood.

First off the parking is sketchy at best! Don't drive a nice car or leave anything in sight. The trails are great with lots of variety, they could be better marked though. Lots of stuff for the kids but could still be ridden faster for mom and dad. Hours of dust and dirt for the whole family.

    Reviewing Ground Control:

It starts out great. Some good doubles and singles into large banked turns. Flattens out towards the end but not for long.

Great new machine cut trails. Wide skill range, up to 8 foot mandatory gaps. Pretty sick for a neighborhood park. Thanks Evergreen Bike Alliance and City of Tacoma

Has multiple lands per trail some difficult some easier but all of them fun will definitely be heading back soon. Was broken glass near the entrance so watch your tyres.

I love this place! Take it for what it is: a roughly 2 mile great flowy but easy loop with little ups and downs and 3 technical downhill trails in the middle. Theres a pump track towards the south side and some scaled drops just north of the pump track. Just moved to Puyallup from around Bellingham, and this place reminds me of the trails up there, in a miniature form. The trails are extremely well built for all skill levels. Only takes about an hour to go through it all, but I ride away with a smile every time. I ride with my 9 year old and it's a great place for both of us to hone our skills. The parking is in a sketchy neighborhood, but I've been there 4 or 5 times since January and never had any problems. Highly recommended for anyone, especially if you don't have much time.

I have ridden this trail twice. First time I stayed up top on the easier stuff, because it was my first time on this kind of trail system. 2 weeks later though, I ventured to the newer lower section and had a lot more fun.
I only gave 4 stars because it isn't done yet and there were people out working on the trails. 5 stars once it's finally done though!

Short but they've packed a ton of variety into a limited space. Easy access from I5 if you're traveling through and have an hour to kill. The park is clean and in great shape but the surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy. Don't leave gear in your car.

Short trail that was a complete blast to ride. I gave a 5 star for the overall fun, though I might give a 4 because of the short length, but the trail fun factor made up the difference.

Awesome little flow trail along with a little skill building park. Very fun but short and no good paring. If there was some real designated parking and maybe a few more miles of trail I would rate as a solid 4.

Truly something for everyone. Hustle and Flow is the easier outer loop that is more XC oriented, but has some fun switchback downhills to spice things up. There are a few more intermediate trails like Braking Bad and Light Trail to challenge you further. If you are more advanced, you have Joyride, Fridgid Air and TNT in order of difficulty as chute runs that drop you back into the clearing. Getting back into the sport after a long time away, and had a blast. Best part of this system is that it is MTB specific, so hikers/walkers aren't really a concern. Very good drainage too, so you can ride after a day of rain.

Fun place close to my house. I'm a beginner rider so great place to practice and learn. Small area to practice drop offs as well as jumping. Overall great little place.

Really impressed of what was put in not too long ago in what seems like a small area of land, started riding here a couple months ago and love it! Couple downhill runs that could be longer but just as fun but really thrive on a couple of the xc trails the outter and inner loop have everything for beginner but adds a little bit more for the experts. Really excited for the growth of Swan Creek and will be there whenever I can

Great beginner/intermediate trails. Well kept and has an actual direction of flow so you don't have to worry about running into someone. Nice little off shoots with jumps and practice area for bridges and drop offs. Small pump track. All features have an easy way around. Great for hitting after work. Only saw one rider and one Tacoma parks employee working on the trails from 3-5 pm. Great for getting the bike legs back.
