A grassy path extends through an open field, flanked by dense trees on either side under a partly cloudy sky. The foreground shows a well-maintained area of grass, gradually leading into the lush greenery. Sydney Dover Trails mountain bike trail.

#181 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#6,080 in the world

This trail is shared with horses but they are there mostly on weekends. this is a good afterwork ride to get in a good 7 miles on mostly flat, wide double track with a couple climbs. There are some othe off shoot trails that offer a little more adventure.

Multi use track....this is an equestrian trail as well so watch out for eh.... Piles. Overall it's a good stretch and to get some miles in but it's nothing special. Some facility and seemed to be kept up when the trail is dry. Lots of over grown areas with terribly saturated ground. Go here if you need a ride and can't get to the better maintained trails in the area

Nothing special about the main trail. However there are various marked and cleared pretty technical stuff soon to be offically open it looks like. Right now the unfinished trails are pretty sketch but still fun. Park at the Hopewell entrance and look for the orange marking tape to find the good trails.

Nothing technical about this trail. Not bad if you are looking to get in a good cardio run and practice getting through thick sugar sand. Its fairly close to my house so I use it when I just want to get out of the house for a bit.

This is a multi use doubletrack trail with horses and hikers. For the most part it is flat and there really isn't any technical spots. Expect a few sugar sand areas when it is dry. Its a good trail to gets some fast miles in. I have noticed some short "Pirate Trails" have been cut in just recently off of the North/ Northwest portion of the main trail.

This is a Multi-use trail shared with Horses, hikers, and bikers. The loop is 7 miles and has several sandy spots, but is a good after work ride. It does have some sweet single track off the main trail around the lakes that offer some fun and some whoops.

Rider questions

Q: when is the washed out area where you have to cross using a board going to get repaired and the mud.holes fill in?
A: I think that area has been closed off. Even in the dry season that was a bad area to ride through, just too many water / mud holes and the brush was too thick to cut around.
