For Summer 2016, Tamarack Resort Bike Park will reopen lift-service for the first time since 2007, allowing riders to experience 1,700" of incredible terrain. Tamarack will reopen this once highly-regarded bike park by refurbishing many of the trails and adding new man-made features.
The bike park will open on Saturday, June 25, and will operate on Saturdays and Sundays through September 4, with additional lift-serviced offered on Monday, July 4th and September 5th. Lifts will turn from 10AM to 4PM, weather permitting.
The Sports Dome, located in the base area, offered downhill and cross-country bike rentals 7 days a week.
A full season pass for unlimited mountain biking will cost $99 plus tax if purchased before Monday, June 20. On June 21, pass rates will increase to $129 plus tax.
Tamarack Resort also offers on-site lodging, dining and a variety of other summer activities, including: whitewater rafting, zipline tours, disc golf, scenic lift rides and equipment rentals at the waterfront cabana on Lake Cascade.
Directions are pretty simple now, on highway 55 aprox 90 miles north of Boise or 10 miles south of McCall is Donnelly, ID. Turn towards the west at the intersection and follow the signs 7 miles to the main parking lot at the resort. This late in the year the lifts are shut down but all the trails are still ridable. I rode quite a few of the lower singletrack and many fun routes with all different technical levels. There are over 30 miles of IMBA approved trails on the mountain here. With all the great riding here, over 100 campsites on Lake Cascade 1 mile away plus the resort town of McCall & all the ridding there 10 miles to the north this area is a fantastic destination for a ridding weekend or week.
