Route to Trailhead with Google Maps
Leave Taupo on SH5 to Napier. Turn onto Taharua Road, then turn onto Clements Mill Road. The track starts a little bit into Clements Mill Road.

    Fantastic ride. Helisika will fly you gear into/out from Oamaru Hut for a reasonable cost. Ride with only your day pack on your back and eat / drink like royalty once you are there.
