From US 27 turn onto Sun and Lake Blvd. Follow the sings all the way to the trail head.
I really hate to use the word expert on this trail as it is just really designed bad and there are numerous examples of chain breaker logs with no supporting ramp logs. The red trails are like every other trail accept they just threw a single log on the trail on corners that are so tight there is really no way to gain any speed upon approach. On the trails considered blue they have less of these logs but make the turns so tight that it forces you to go slow and be on your pedals more. We went today which is Saturday and we were the only ones on the trail the whole time we were out there. Pretty sure a kid was dealing drugs from the parking lot too. There were parts of the north trail that were so covered with leaves you could hardly find the trail. The pigs have taken over and many portions of the trail are rooted up. If this is someone volunteer work that built it back in the day they are long gone. If our tax dollars are paying for it I want many tax dollars to go somewhere else as the trails is just a bad design... Way to tight on the take backs.
Thank |Great trail workout...Can't believe it is a beginner level with some trail loups labeled "cardiac". Actually this trail is titled "Sun 'n Lake bike trail", not the flat land trail south of this location. This trail has beginner, intermediate, and "intense" levels.
Thank |nice trail but don't go in rain season because it floods in areas.
Thank |Rode this trail in April 2012 and really enjoyed it. I felt the trail had a good combo of fast flat areas with sections full of fallen logs that challenged your handling skills. I will be back for sure. Thanks to the locals who work on this system.
Thank |good trail's to ride. The condition is fair to good in most places. There is a lack of trail identification in many areas making it fairly easy to get turned around but just try and find a fire trail and head east my son.
Thank |Lots of trail, not to much flow with many trails overloaded with logovers. Some trails are not maintained (deep into North Trails). A good place to pedal if in the area.
Thank |Tipical Florida Scrubb, with technical logs, bridges oversome of the creeks. High cardio workout.* Review edited 7/14/2009
