Mountain Biking Tour Des Suds
#123 of 709 mountain bike trails in Utah
Tour Des Suds is actually the name of race held every fall in Park City, put on by the Mountain Trails Foundation. The trail, or parts of it, follow the Ontario Bypass trail. It is usually signed with both names. This ride is almost as much fun as the race and the racers themselves! It starts out on pavement, then switches to a graded road, then to tight, narrow singletrack with more then it's share of switchbacks! The upper section (the last mile or so) is the most technical, with roots and rocks aplenty! The ride is on private property, so please respect all the rules.

Take the Park City exit at Kimball Junction off of Interstate 80. Take State Highway 224 into Park City, approx.. 6 miles. Highway 224 turns into Park Avenue, and at the intersection of Park Avenue and Deer Valley Drive turn left (you will see two large sporting goods stores Jans and Cole Sport here). There are three entrances to Main Street off of Deer Valley Drive and the parking lot for the trailhead is located at the very top of Main Street, right behind the Wasatch Brew Pub (this is a fee parking area, there are other areas along Main Street that you can park for free).
