The Town Trail is a singletrack trail that runs along the base of the West Side of
the mountain, right above the town of Big Bear Lake. It functions as a scenic, fun
return to the lift for riders dropping down any of the West Side trails.

Town trail is a nice easy trail that's great for beginners and families. The best way to start is on the village side of the trail at knickerbocker. The average person will do a short hike a bike climb to the trail head and it's downhill from there. The trail is a double track and I had a great time using my Burley trailer on it. There is a few optional features that my kids love. There is a descent view of the lake too. Great for family, kids, push bikes, trailers.
