Mountain Biking Townwest Trails
#194 of 279 mountain bike trails in Texas
From the pull-off /parking area you will see about 6 different trail heads. Choose one and take
off. trails criss-cross each other all over the several hundred acre oilfield, but you can't get too
lost because there are major roads on all sides. BE WARNED--- This trail system is primarily used
by dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, and there is NO normal direction of travel. Because of this, the
sand is usually packed very loose and is about as close as you can come to riding dunes without
riding dunes. Also, this is West Texas so briars, stickers and Mesquite are abundant. Make sure
your tires have Slime in them or you pack an extra innertube (or two). If you can handle the
loose sand, you will like this trail. There are pleanty of switchbacks and dips because it is what
dirtbikes and 4-wheelers like. Not a bad stop-off if your on your way to somewhere else.

From South Main street in Seminole (US. 385) go west on SW Ave G. After the stop sign, and after
passing a city park on your right, start looking on your left at the top of the hill for County Road
303. Turn left (south) on CR 303. Go about 1/4 mile and you will see where to pull in on the left side
of the road. Park anywhere in the pull-off.
I lived here for 22 years and never knew that anyone took their mtb out there. TONS OF ATVs be careful.. lots of sand. try it out have a little fun and ruin two tubes.
