Mountain Biking Turkey Creek
#311 of 416 mountain bike trails in Arizona
The ride from the lower to upper parking is on a jeep trail for about a mile. When you get to the upper parking on your left, ride through the gap in the rocks and you're off and running on the single track. Most of this trail is hard pack with a lot of short, ledgy sections. It has a few tricky spots to keep it interesting, but pretty mellow when compared to the Hiline and Baldwin (which you will see frequently on your return trip on this trail). There's a fair amount of easy climbing, so this is a good fitness trail.

Take Verde Valley School Rd. west out of the Village a few miles until it turns into a gravel road, continue a few hundred yards until you find the lower trailhead parking on your left. There is a sign designating it as the Turkey Creek trailhead parking.
