A narrow dirt path winds through a forested area beside a road, surrounded by trees and autumn leaves scattered on the ground. The path leads into the woods and is partially shaded by the trees. A hint of greenery is visible along the edges, and a glimpse of a camp structure can be seen in the background. Tuthill mountain bike trail.

You can make loops that are really beginner friendly, but also if not paying attention can reroute onto a loop that is not so beginner friendly. So it is smart to plan your turns according to your skills so you don't descend or hit an obstacle you aren't ready for yet. But it's a huge asset to Sioux Falls mtb trails, and is much more expansive now than is in gpz here. Beginners should check out Yankton trail and legacy before tuthill and leaders in my opinion, tuthill is an intermediate singletrack. 2 way traffic is also a minor downside compared to one way at leaders as far as Sioux falls tracks are concerned. But very minor.

I'm new to trail riding. This was a great trail to get a feel for it and gain confidence. The trail was well marked. It had a balance of beginning and intermediate level trials with some challenging moments. I am looking forward to going back when more of the trail is finished. I enjoyed the packed down dirt, well marked signs, and the conscience of in a city but it didn't feel that way.

Nice flowing trails and very ideal for recreational level MTB riders. Short tracks but still enjoyable. Downhill road is a pleasant riding.

It was full of icy so we are unable to continue the trail. But I am looking forward to riding when the trail is in the right condition. It looks like it is going to be a great ride!

Nice trail, mostly singletrack that I was on, easy access from Tuthill Park.
Nicely packed dirt, some leaves freshly fallen ftom the trees.
Sunday afternoon, encountered several other riders.
    Great new trail.
