Mountain Biking Tyler Draw

#56 of 256 mountain bike trails in Wyoming

Though only 5.5 miles in length, this loop is great for multiple laps and fun enough that you have to do "just one more lap". All singletrack in Tyler draw with drops and swoops and banks and berms, like riding a pump-track! There are at times a few trail options to choose from, just stay in the draw and you can't go wrong. There are only two trees in the draw. Just before the 2nd Cottonwood treee climb up and out of Tyler Draw on the right. Climb gently back up to the start area on double track.

Dare I write of Tyler Draw? Dare I? I think its worth noting the actual elevation drop and gain of the single track is about 150 ft. Not 500. The trail is pretty dusty and slow. Its been carved out by dirt bikers In a lot of spots. Its not a bad cross country trail, but its extremely difficult to pick up speed due to the thick dusty/sand sections. Its tough when you have trail in a drainage for it to not get sandy and washed out in spots. There's good singletrack out on the mesa, however.

This trail is good for all levels of riders. I really like that the trail is so close to town.

Trail was really fun but like others said it seems short. Even though there is evidence of dirt bike activity its not all torn up. There are some sandy and loose rock areas but they are not bad at all. This trail feels like a flow track in many spots on the way down. Using the topo map to find the trail starts you out going over some nasty hill on a cow trail that is rutted and pottholed. Perhaps in the past it was a good side track? When you get to the ground zero of the driving directions to the trail head just go down into the bottom of the draw to find the trail not where the topo map on this trail info shows you. Also, seems like most people ride this as an out and back not really a loop although a loop is possible if you ride some (Yawn) doubletracks. Had a blast!

AWESOME. It is almost as much fun to ride up as to ride down.

Rode this trail again after 3 years. The MXers have pushed the trail further down the draw. Will update the trail description and track above.* Review edited 5/15/2012
