University of California Santa Cruz's upper campus preserve provides fire road connectivity between Pogonip, Henry Cowell and Wilder Ranch State Park.

MBoSC is currently working with UCSC and other interested parties on trail development in the preserve. Bikes are currently allowed on access roads only.

From the base of UCSC, head up Glenn Coolidge, left on Hagaar, left on McLaughlin, right on Chinquapin. Trail has entrances to your right and to your left. There are also entrances above Kresge College and Colleges 9&10.
