Mountain Biking UNCC Campus Trails
#87 of 549 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
This trail is no longer maintained. However, there is new trail off of the Mallard Creek parkway by Island Park Cir off Mallard Creek Rd.
Ride those, they all connect and you can't get lost. About 10 miles of trails, hilly, some technical. Very muddy when it rains.

Take UNCC exit off I-85 and turn left at the second light by the hospital. A security guard from the hospital told some riders not park on hospital property or ride our bikes on hospital property. He was very nice about it and said this was due to liability. He ask that we park up in the grassy area across from McDonalds or park at the library. There is a trail at the back of the library parking lot.
Do not attempt unless you have balls the size of your wheels....
Thank |Basically all very large dirt jumps. Jumps ranging from 3ft take offs with 5ft gaps, to 6ft jumps wit 20-30ft gaps, high wooden features. Definitely a cool spot to check out.
**Near UNCC ropes course gravel parking lot
Thank |Only one part I know of, a little bigger than the size of a football field, pretty much all jumps, not for beginners
Thank |Scratch that, all the trails except the Poplar Loop exist! see the trail map at http://uncc.edu/mtbike/ - GREAT trails but VERY hard and challenging - clippers beware, and you will be huffing / puffing / walking. Otherewise these trails have been worked on a lot recently, and are excellent - just a challenge.
