Mountain Biking Uno Peak Trail #1260
#574 of 1,214 mountain bike trails in Washington
This trail is popular access for hunters during fall. It is not used much except during hunting season, when both horses and bikers use the trail to get to Crow Cabin, Big Goat Mountain, Uno Peak, and Ferry Peak to hunt deer. The trail starts crossing Safety Harbor Creek, which can be dangerous during spring and early summer runoff, and switchbacks up into the Big Goat Mountain and Uno Peak area. The tread is very narrow in spots. The "more difficult" trail standard was assigned for bikers, since the tread is narrow, the side slope is steep in places, and the switchbacks have a very short turning radius. Stock feed is available from 3 miles on to the Summit Trail. Camping areas are available near Crow Cabin or at the end of the trail in Miners Basin (junction with Summit Trail). Several mountains are short climbs for outstanding views and good viewing can be had from a couple of passes. source: fs.usda.gov
