Mountain Biking Upper Winter Creek

*****   Add a review
#403 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#4,902 in the world

Despite the forbidding-looking entrance, this trail is actually the smootheast and easiest of the two singletrack trails here that form the loop. I recommend beginning by climbing up this and then dropping down Lower Winter Creek.

The singletrack here is beautiful benchcut trail that goes from shadowy trees to exposed mountain side and back several times.

I liked this trail much more than Lower Winter Creek, but it could have had something to do with the fact that I had to climb all the way up the lower trail.
