From the El Cinto church west of Parque Metropolitano Chilbulo, take Eduardo Salazar Gómez to a sharp right onto Diego Noboa. Take that all the way to the parking lot at 4150 meters. From there, continue up the road by bike to the Ecuadorean Civil Defense Hut. The trail should be on the right.
