The South Haven Trail head is at the dead end of Maple Street. The trailhead is well marked in South Haven.
To start in Hartford, exit 94 northbound at the hartford exit. Stay on center street until you see Prospect Street (across from high school) and turn left onto Prospect St. You'll see the trailhead on the left about a half mile down right after crossing the railroad track.
