Mountain Biking Walker Ranch Park
#153 of 279 mountain bike trails in Texas
Great little track to get your "FIX" after work. Walker Ranch park is a mixed use facility with a paved 1/4 mile track used by Runners, walker and bikers alike. there is also an outside loop, dirt track, with narrow passages, rocks and flats. north end of this trail connects to the GreenBelt for extra long rides.......

Head north on Blanco from I410, about 4 miles and take a right on West road. Walker Ranch Park will be on your left hand side about 2 miles down the road.
Brand new rider here** the trails around the park are short but fun. I use them as a warm up then ride Salado creek and enjoy the trails out there. I can get an easy 7-10 miles, in an hour.
Thank |Walker Ranch park is okay for it's size but isn't a whole lot to ride because it lacks a lot of features and theres no continuity between off road trails. It quickly loses it's entertainment value very quickly and turns into a pass through on the way to Mac or the Salado
Thank |This is a fun little park that has a very small bit of singletrack within the park aside from the paved paths. It's definitely a next step for kids to build up confidence before trying harder trails and even has a fun little drop in. The park is also part of the Salado greenway system and even has a few off shoot singletrack paths woven through it on the way to Phil Hardberger park
Thank |Not much of a trail. There are some dog walking paths that exist. Eventually this will be a connection on the Salado Greenway going from 1604 N, headed south to Macallister and beyond.
Thank |Not much to this for me.
