New trail with some intermediate sections. Fun trail to work on your technical skills. Still fairly rough to ride due to it being new. Fun greenways to ride nearby as well

Getting there
Turn down the road beside Sams Club. I think the road it's named saundersville rd. The trail is on the left before you get to the elementary school

So I am new to mountain biking and this is a great beginner trail. The trail looked like it had recently been cleared. The trail was not technical and there aren't a lot of climbs either. But, it's a good trail for beginners that are looking for a good starting trail. Plus, there's a paved greenway nearby that is a nice ride as well.

Perfect training trail. A few sharp turns and a couple bumps and jumps. Slow grade, with a couple downhills. Pedal faster

Come check out the Warrior Trail. Located near Sams Wholesale Club just off the Drakes Creek Greenway you will find a creek side trail that is run to ride. Hats off to the City and Bikers Choice for the great trail maintenance. This is pretty easy overall but for biking in the city a nice way to get away and get the tires dirty.

Great local city trail. Singletrack beside Drakes Creek. Right off the greenway, come relax by the creek in the woods. Beautiful!

This is a fun little trail along Drakes Creek in Hendersonville. It's a lot of trail in a very small area but still fun and a bit technical to ride. I generally ride it while riding the greenway, just take a little detour near Sams (go away from Sams and the trailhead is just on the left past the creek).

Fun trail to ride on if you are a beginner one section with 3 doubles and a bank turn at the end that's the most intense part on the trail. If you want an intense trail close to Hendersonville there is lock4 in gallatin.

Pros: It is a trail, it is in Hendersonville, and it is connected to Drakes Creek Park and Veterans Park by the greenway.
Cons: It is only about a mile long, there are no signs to indicate direction of flow, it is too narrow for 2-way traffic, and it is overgrown.
Conclusion: It isn't much now, but it is a decent start. It took a lot of years for Lock 4 to become as nice as it is. Hopefully, this trail will continue to get some attention and become a nice little neighborhood trail.

It is great that there is now a trail in hendersonville, but honestly the greenway leading up to it is more fun than this trail. It is poorly marked, overgrown, and barely an excuse for a mountain bike trail. Take the extra time to drive out to lock 4.
