#31 of 115 mountain bike trails in South Carolina
Fun and flowing singletrack that drains well after a hard rain. Not technical at all, just good blazing fast fun!

CW: Starting in the parking lot by the pond, ride the scout trail until it intersects with the Whippoorwill
CCW: As the Knot trail ends at the park entrance road, cross the road and enter the Splice trail, then follow the signs to the Whippoorwill
Fast and flowing. Nothing tough. Fun to ride.
Thank |Fast and flowing. Nothing tough. Fun to ride.
Thank |I wish I would have read Mt. Burrito's review before I went. I was hauling tail on the trail and I hit the narrow section with the trees on both sides a and wiped out. I landed on a fallen tree and scrapped my forearm all to hell. I had a great time other than that. Nice trail system. Well worth the ride.
Thank |Like everyone else said...Fun trail.
Thank |Well worth the trip to ride the trails in this park.
Nice smooth trail with areas that you could pick up some speed. There is one spot I had to get off the trail because my handle bars would literally not fit through the trees so just be aware if you have wider bars!
Thank |Trail is in great shape and well maintained. Not technical, but certainly areas where speed can really be picked up. This trail is a great extension of the knot that can be started at the pond dam of Poinsette. A very fun ride.
Thank |Great trail from the Midlands SORBA group. They have added a good flowing trail to The Knot to extend the single track. They are also actively working on adding another 3-4 miles of trail to remove sections of double track fire road. They should be done mid winter or so.
Thank |Fast, flowy, and FUN!!
