Mountain Biking White Knuckle
#305 of 387 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
White Knuckle is the traditional end of the Nine Mile Advanced Loop (although it could also be the beginning). It starts (from south to north) on smooth, fast trail descending from a ridge through forest. Then, right before the end, riders are treated to a long, uninterrupted section of roots and rocks that will certainly given you white knuckles.

From the Nine Mile parking lot, head out on The Pines. Then, when you hit Icky Thump, turn right onto it and ride Up Nort and start Outbound. When Outbound reaches the Advanced Loop Connector, continue onto it. At the end of the connector, White Knuckle should be on the left.
