A proper beginner trail. There is some hill climbing, but as West Virginia goes it is pretty tame. The trail is technically pretty easy but very beautiful. It connects to triple creek trail near the top. Well marked with diamond trail blazes

My wife is a less experienced rider and she really enjoyed this trail. If you ride it as an out and back the downhill on the way back is pretty fun although not super technical.
